Fathers Day

Fathers Day - 'Quality Time'

2006 promises to be the biggest and best father's day event yet. We have so far arranged for hot food stalls to be in attendance, bouncy castles, Micheal (Wassifa) Brown to provide the music for all ages, street dancers, football, netball and basketball tournaments (father & child teams), father and child or family photographs. Other activities to be announced in due course.

Please keep checking our website for regular updates for the programme of the day.

For the 2003 event, the men prepared the food and refreshments for mentees and their families and arranged a variety of team and individual games which included egg and spoon, sack races and an extremely popular father and child penalty shoot out competition.

In 2002, the members and mentees joined up with the London chapter of 100 Black Men for the Father's Day excursion to Thorpe Park.

On both occasions fun was had by all with men putting our theme into action of fathers spending 'quality time' with their children.
